In the week I spent in Zanzibar, I saw street cats everywhere: sleeping under mopeds, on rooftops and the beach, in alleys, doorsteps, windows, shops, and even restaurants. I didn’t see a dog until maybe the 4th day and it seemed to surprise a bunch of people. Here are some of the kitties I snapped photos of.
