November Wind Down

As November and National Blog Posting Month come to an end, so does my semester abroad. In just two weeks I’ll be heading home back to the states on a 15-hour flight. It’s so strange that I’ll be gone so soon and since I’m going to Victoria Falls tonight for a long weekend and then heading up to the Okavango Delta with my international program once finals are done, I only have four full days left in Gaborone. Wow. This will be my first year without Thanksgiving, which makes part of me want to jet home pronto. But at the same time, I want to truly savor what little time I have left in Africa.

Hopefully there’s wifi at Victoria Falls so I can upload my last few posts for NaBloPoMo. While I definitely will finish posting on my adventures in Zanzibar and later on Victoria Falls, my last NaBloPoMo posts will most likely be more personal pieces, poetry or otherwise. Stay tuned!
